Lug-to-lug length determines how a case occupies the wrist. Thickness controls how it moves under a cuff. Dial opening changes perceived size.
A larger watch can feel restrained when its bezel, lugs and dial are balanced. A smaller watch can still feel loud when those relationships are unresolved.
